14 Things About Dennis Lloyd You Should Know! | Billboard chords
Start Jamming...
[Gb] Hey, this is [Em] Billboard and you should know me, Dennis Lloyd.
[G] I grew up [C] in Tel Aviv, Israel.
If someone was playing me in a movie, I would [Em] say Ryan Gosling or [D] Bradley Cooper,
because I love them so [C] much.
One thing that may surprise about me, [Em] my name is not Dennis Lloyd, my name is Neil Hebo.
I [G] decided to [C] choose a stage name like two and a half years ago,
just because I [G] wanted something catchy [Em] that would be [D] easy processing.
The last movie I [C] watched was The Room.
It was horrible.
You're tearing me apart, Lisa!
My [G] biggest accomplishment, [Em] oh my God, I think [G] for me it was moving to Bangkok
[C] and surviving there for a year alone.
I decided to move [G] there and just [Em] focus on my music
and [Bm] be completely isolated [C] from the society outside.
First [G] job I ever had, I [Em] was a waiter, actually, in [G] a restaurant, Italian restaurant.
[C]
Craziest [G] thing I ever done, [Em] I dated a [D] Colombian girl [Em] for a year and a [C] half.
It was crazy.
My favorite album [Em] is Nevermind by Nirvana.
First [G] time I ever heard [C] my song on the radio, I was a bit high, actually,
[Em] and I didn't recognize it.
I was just humming with it and [D] I was like,
where did I hear that?
[C] And then I was like, [G] wait, that's my song.
I would love to collaborate and marry [Em] Georgia Smith.
Her voice is just incredible.
Every time I listen to her,
[C] I'm getting into a different zone and it's fucking [Em] amazing.
I started playing the trumpet when I [D] was eight.
Five years [C] later, I got my first guitar.
Actually, it was [G] my sister's guitar and I just stole it and started playing.
And ever since, I bought my first microphone, a USB microphone,
and I started recording and producing myself.
My biggest [Em] inspiration is Kurt Cobain.
[D] Ever since I was [Bm] young, I had the [C] poster of him over my head.
I think [G] I have no bullshit in my music.
It's just like that.
It's there.
It's nothing complicated, nothing too smart.
It's just feelings on paper.
[D] If you like it, you're with [C] me.
If not, fuck you.
[G] [Fm] The story about Nevermind is that [Bb] when I was in Bangkok,
I had a girlfriend and she was traveling in Indonesia.
[Fm] And I [Bb] was fucking worried.
I was worried that she was going to meet someone.
And I was just like, [Ab] all these thoughts, I just wrote them and I created Nevermind.
What if I left and it made no sense?
Eventually, [Bb] I left and it made no sense.
[Fm]
