[F] Aha great great song there okay so I started with this little E7 chord so I'm playing
[Ab] [N] I'm sliding up to it from a semitone below so I'm playing on the D string 11 C sharp G natural on 12
on the G string [Bbm] and A sharp on 11 on the B [Ab] string and then sliding that up [Abm] one fret to get D G sharp
and B [E]
okay [Ab] so we've got the seventh the [B] third and the fifth of [G] an E7 chord [E] and then I just add my
little finger on 14 to get E so I'm playing 14 on the D string [Em]
and then I kind of like to play this
as a harmonic I think it sounds kind of nice [E] so
[Em] I'm just using my second finger to lightly tap on 12
and release and
[Am] then [E] I'm just [C] going from C [E] and A so that's 10 and 10 on the D and B strings
[Eb] sliding down to B and [Am] G sharp so back to a [F] partial E chord [E] and then just playing the open E string
so [Em]
[E]
and I play that twice on the intro and the chords for the song are really simple I start
with a little couple of leading notes so just playing B C sharp E so 7 9 7 on the E and A strings
[Em] so then we've got
so E A [A]
[E] E and I play that little lick again then [B] to a B and then [Gm] [B] I play a B again and [C] I did what I did
[B] a little slide just from a C7 to B7 so then we're into the chorus [E] E [A] A [Em] E [Db] playing that little lick [E] again
back to E
[A] A [E] E E [B] B [A]
A7 okay and then the [C] brass played
[E] kind of call and response and this time I played the chord just by sliding so slightly different
to the intro so after the brass play [Bbm] the [Gm] guitar responds with so I'm now playing 11 12 11 again
[Ab] [E] I just slide into that with a bar and just playing the E as a bar this time and then again
the brass plays and then I just play the same as [Em] before sliding on [E] 10 and 10 down to 9 9 and then
into another repeat so after the second chorus we've got a bridge followed by a key change
so for the chorus we're playing it the same

so what we're doing is we're coming out of the chorus [E] with um [B] was he [A] was a two [E] the a7
[B] one [A] two three four then we've got two bars of D [D] when I remember it was in his a
boom on the side
[B] b7 mid-time
[E]
e p7 it's the chorus [Ab] but now we're in the key of [A] a so a
every [D]
day [A] creature man a [D] d [A] a a [E] e [D] d [A] and then [Ab] for the outro it just keeps going around between a and
[D] [A]
a okay [E] so it's a wonderful song and it's [A] a great one to play
so enjoy Dusty Springfield and Son of a Preacher Man thanks for watching

and B [E]
okay [Ab] so we've got the seventh the [B] third and the fifth of [G] an E7 chord [E] and then I just add my

and then I kind of like to play this
as a harmonic I think it sounds kind of nice [E] so
[Em] I'm just using my second finger to lightly tap on 12
and release and
[Am] then [E] I'm just [C] going from C [E] and A so that's 10 and 10 on the D and B strings
[Eb] sliding down to B and [Am] G sharp so back to a [F] partial E chord [E] and then just playing the open E string

with a little couple of leading notes so just playing B C sharp E so 7 9 7 on the E and A strings
