what have you. _ _
[Db] _ _ And I got a call to go _ [Eb]
[Ab] visit Mother Walker.
_ _ _ [Bbm] [Gb] And Mother Walker had been sick [Ab] for many a year.
And she had lost [Eb] one leg.
And then it took off [Bbm] the other leg.
[Ab] And I got a call that she was real [C] low. _
[Db] And when I got to Jewish Hospital that afternoon
[Eb] and [Ab] I got to her bedside, she began to talk to me.
[Bbm] [Ab] She was still [Db] conscious.
And she [Ab] could talk and let me know what was on her heart.
_ [Bbm] So I asked [Ab] Mother if she had anything
that she wanted to tell me, anything she wanted to say.
And she said, I just want to [Db] give my testimony.
_ And she said, I'm saved and [Gm]
[Ab] I'm sanctified
and I have the Holy Ghost.
And when [Ab] she said, I have the Holy Ghost,
she [Bb] quickened [Ab] there in the bed.
[Eb] She had tubes [Ab] running everywhere.
But she [Bbm] quickened when she talked [Ab] about the Holy Spirit.
_ And then she said, Brother Tim, I
want you [Db] to take this message back to the saints
at Washington Temple.
Tell them that [Eb] although I'm [Ab] sick and afflicted,
I yet praise the name [Bbm] of Jesus [Ab] [Dbm] because [Ab]
he's
worthy [Eb] to be [Ab] praised.
And I got some news for you today.
If you really want to know the secret to success,
_ [Db] if you really want to know how to get ahead [Eb] in life,
[Ab] learn how to praise God no matter what your [Bbm] [C] circumstance.
[Bb] [Ab] Oh, I know you got sickness in your home.
I know you got trouble [Ab] at your door.
But learn how to praise the Lord in spite of.
I wish I had one witness in the house tonight.
[Db] You see, you see, you see, it's one thing
to praise the [Ebm] Lord while your [Ab] bank account is full.
It's easy to give God glory [Bbm] when your bills [Ab] are paid.
[Dbm] It's [Ab] easy to praise the Lord when everything
is going [Eb] well with you.
But [Ab] can you praise God when there's trouble at your door?
I found out when you give God the sacrifice of praise,
[Db] even in spite of the [Ab] pain, even in spite of your situation,
God [Db] somehow or [Eb] another turns [Ab] things around for you.

[Bbm] [Ab] The Lord [Dbm] gave me a song [Ab] some years ago,
said it's always [Db] good to [Eb] pray,
but the [Ab] victory is in the praise.
And if you can just learn how to praise God,
[Ebm] you can praise your way [Db] out of any situation you're in.
You can praise your way out of trouble.
