I need to understand some things.
The world is changing.
Sentra isn't safe for you anymore.
Before we begin properly, I just want to say, Anja, you and Freya were very complimentary to me last time.
I'm getting nervous.
And I think you kept me in a [Fm] job.
I'm so excited to be interviewed by you.
I'm a big fan of yours.
Oh, stop it.
I've watched all your interviews.
You are unbelievably kind.
So I was like freaking out that you were interviewing me.
That's the first time I've ever heard that.
Really?
You have made my day.
I'm glad you're here now.
I'm terrible with compliments.
Here's [Am] one for you.
I've got one straight for you.
Curiosity [Bbm] question.
[F]
[Db] Do you get [Eb] people just noticing you?
They don't want to interrupt your life, but they [Bbm] start without meaning to singing the [Abm] song.
Yeah, actually, that's the cutest thing that I've noticed.
Some people on the tube will hum it just really quietly.
And then they'll kind of look at you and go, you know that song?
And I'm like, I'm totally aware of that song.
To tell you I was waiting for you.
Exactly, yeah.
And there was one moment where I got on the tube one day, and I was masked up and everything,
but someone was reading The Witcher.
And I sat opposite him, and he genuinely just went
And this moment of
And you just kind of do a little wave, and those are the sort of moments of the fandom where you just
It's adorable.
It's so fun.
It's in my head all the time.
The trouble is if you watch the show too much, you remember O'Valley of Penis.
And then you go
He just improvised.
Was it?
Yeah, it [Am] was.
Toss a [Em] coin to [A] your [F] witcher, O'Valley [Am] of Penis.
Oh, [C] gosh.
I bet you £20.
Don't do it.
We [Bm] had a bet to see if it would make the cut.
I owe you £20.
You do.
You've embarrassed me so many times.
Why am I laughing?
I'm [Am] going
[N] Oh, Geralt.
Thank the [G] gods.
I might live to see another day.
We need to go.
Yeah, there have been amazing memes that have popped out around the first series.
Like, there was an Honest Trailer that said Coins.
10% of all your coins.
He fled with that coin.
My coin.
My coin.
[F] Coin.
Coin.
All the coin.
But my ballads bring all the coin to the bar.
Oh, my goodness.
I've not seen that one.
Oh, that's great.
Story.
[D]
Silent but [G] deadly.
My ballads bring all the coin to the [N] bar.
Absolutely.
Chef's kiss.
That's fantastic.
Do you have any good fan interactions where people have just gone absolutely spare seeing you?
Absolutely not.
No one recognises you.
No one recognises me.
You're like a ninja.
The impact of the success of this show just is not
I don't feel it at all.
Other than when I go to the premiere, which was a day ago, and that was lovely.
Then you were getting people dressed up as you, shouting your name.
All that good stuff.
It was [D] really nice.
I had to save her.
I know.
And you [C] knew I would call you out on it.
Yeah.
You brought her [F] here anyway.
[N] Were you aware of what a big deal this is?
No.
How can you do that?
Before you enter to a world you really don't know about it.
And it is rude.
And I love it because this is a big family.
And they all treat each other like family members.
And we're talking about now the whole crew and members of the team.
But also the rest of the world.
So I'm so happy to be a part of that love.
Absolutely.
Turning to you, please tell me how has your life changed since this small TV show burst forth two years ago?
I guess it feels like I'm in a very different life path to my friends.
Because they're all just starting uni.
And I'm getting to work already in my dream job and everything.
So it's very different.
[G] [Ab]
[A] [Ab] [Bb] Your friends aren't talking about swordplay or being chucked [G] off a mountain.
No.
You always realise how crazy your job is when you come home and you're sort of,
I had such a hard day at work.
Because I was trying to fight this monster and I couldn't find the emotional beat of it.
And then you realise how crazy your job really is.
The fact that that's your concerns on a daily basis.
[D]
[N] I was wondering, you guys, glamorous job on the surface.
But in reality you're shooting in the freezing [G] cold and it's not always perfect.
What was the least glamorous moment shooting this second series?
You have a beautiful, beautiful area up in North District.
[Eb]
I didn't know that you were so complete.
I mean, why do you ever travel to New Zealand?
I know, right?
[N] It's expensive and it takes a long time.
Just go up north and you're fine.
Were three hours in car, four hours?
It doesn't matter.
It was incredible.
Untouched areas.
And it was cold.
But you forget about it when it's so beautiful.
And you get so integrated in the nature and wherever you're looking it's cold.
It's great.
Get this guy on the tourist board.
That was amazing.
Can you talk back?
Do you have an unglamorous moment?
I'm trying to think of the unglamorous moment.
Because I'd say just when you're having to walk around everywhere with two hot water bottles in [Em] your arms like this.
And you're trying to be a cool, badass character.
But you've just got your hot water bottles with you constantly.
Or sometimes they're shoved down your costume as well.
You've just got them popping out everywhere.
Every hole of your costume just has a hot water bottle in it.
But yeah, that's just a general given on The Witcher because it's always freezing.
When I rewatch it, I'll bear that in mind.
Yes.
What exactly is Cameron?
[Am]
[D] I was wondering whether there were some new least glamorous moments shooting this show.
Every day.
Every day.
Like second series, you're running through a wood screaming and crying.
What were your highlights?
Sorry, lowlights.
Of those glamorous moments?
Yeah.
Wow.
For me, it's [Bm] the cold.
I mean, I say this a lot, but it really, truly does affect me.
[N] Yeah.
For me, it was just a boatload of animals.
I was working with so many animals.
Constantly, yeah.
There was a chicken involved.
There were spider monkeys that we both quite liked.
The chicken was a really cool moment.
The chicken was a cool moment that hasn't made it in.
Mice getting trapped in my chest hair.
What?
Oh, what happens all the time.
Yeah, exactly.
They're just drawn to me.
[E] But yeah, this mouse just started to have a little one.
He was just cold, and so I had to stop halfway through a take and assume the [B] position
while somebody fished a mouse out of my face.
That's so weird.
That is something that's so witchery.
I know.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, mostly.
That was your day, was talking to mice on a bucket.
Yeah.
[F] I need your help.
[D]
Fine.
[G] But first, gentlemen, it's been an honour.
[F] [Eb] [F] What?
[C] I [F] made new friends.
Get over [C] it.
Jealous?
[Eb] Any interaction with the mice [B] is ad libs, because I turned to Lauren and said,
I can't not talk to these lovely mice.
And so I named them all, ascribed [N] various different backstories.
Make this man a Disney prince.
Yes.
Need him at the time.
Hello, little fellow.
Hello.
Aren't you just the cutest, most terrifying thing I've ever seen in my entire life.
Run away, run away, Geralt!
All right, do me a favour.
If I were to want to become best friends with Henry Cavill really quickly,
what tips would you advise?
Get on good terms with Cal.
Cal, yeah.
Cal.
Yeah.
His seven-year-old American Akita done the prep.
See?
Already halfway there, mate.
Cal's such a diva as well.
He'll turn up on set and just be like, pet me.
And then you do it for a bit and he kind of goes, no, I'm done with you now.
Sort of putters off.
And so, yeah, if you can get in with Cal, then you can get in with Henry.
You smell of mice.
I'm leaving.
Bye.
Bye.
One last thought before we wrap things up.
Is there any advice you'd give your younger self before this all kicked off,
two or three years ago?
Something you'd want yourself to bear in mind as this progressed.
[Em] Oh, kind of, I don't know.
Don't do the penis improvisation, maybe.
Whatever you do, just stop improvising.
I think just have fun, because I occasionally need to [G] remind myself to do that,
particularly in some of the harder aspects of this job.
It's [Em] just to have fun with it, because it's only telly.
[B] And also, like, recovid.
Yeah, exactly.
I've learned a lot and, you know, my perspective's changed.
I've got my priorities in order, I think.
Just, like, enjoy it.
I mean, it's entertaining people at the end of the day
and hopefully going to bring some escapism to people's lives.
And bring more water bottles and know that you can't really wear that.
Invest in some heat.
Yeah, some foot warmers.
And you can't really [Fm] wear leather that much again.
No.
Yeah, sorry.
Thank you, guys.
Have a great rest of your day.
Thank you so much.

[G] _ _ But first, _ gentlemen, it's been an honour.
[F] _ [Eb] _ _ [F] What?
[C] I [F] made new friends.
Get over [C] it.
Jealous?
[Eb] Any interaction with the mice [B] is ad libs, because I turned to Lauren and said,
I can't not talk to these lovely mice.
And so I named them all, ascribed [N] various different backstories.
Make this man a Disney prince.
Yes.
Need him at the time.
Hello, little fellow.
Hello.
Aren't you just the cutest, _ _ most terrifying thing I've ever seen in my entire life.
I'm leaving.
Bye.
Bye.
One last thought before we wrap things up.
Is there any advice you'd give your younger self before this all kicked off,
two or three years ago?
Something you'd want yourself to bear in mind as this progressed.
_ [Em] _ Oh, kind of, I don't know.
Don't do the penis improvisation, maybe.
Whatever you do, just stop improvising. _
[Eb] Hey, a pleasure.

I need to understand some things.
The world is changing.
Sentra isn't safe for you anymore.
Before we begin properly, I just want to say, Anja, you and Freya were very complimentary _ to me last time.
[F] _
And I sat opposite him, and he genuinely just went_
And this moment of_
And you just kind of do a little wave, and those are the sort of moments of _ the fandom where you just_
It's adorable.
It's so fun.
It's in my head all the time.
The trouble is if you watch the show too much, you remember O'Valley of Penis.
And then you go_
He just improvised.
I'm [Am] going_ _
_ _ [N] Oh, Geralt.
Thank the [G] gods.
I might live to see another day.
We need to go.
Yeah, there have been amazing memes that have popped out around the first series.
Like, there was an Honest Trailer that said_ Coins.
10% of all your coins.
He fled with that coin.
My coin.
My coin.
[F] Coin.
Coin.
All the coin.
But my ballads bring all the coin to the bar.
Oh, my goodness.
I've not seen that one.
Oh, that's great.
Story.
[D] _
Silent but [G] deadly.
My ballads bring all the coin to the [N] bar.
Absolutely.
Chef's kiss.
That's fantastic.
Do you have any good fan interactions where people have just gone absolutely spare seeing you?
Absolutely not.
No one recognises you.
No one recognises me.
You're like a ninja.
The impact of the success of this show just is not_
I don't feel it at all.
Other than when I go to the premiere, which was a day ago, and that was lovely.
Then you were getting people dressed up as you, shouting your name.
All that good stuff.
It was [D] really nice.
_ I had to save her.
I know.
And you [C] knew I would call you out on it.
_ Yeah.
_ And I'm getting to work already in my dream job and everything.
So it's very different.
_ [G] _ _ [Ab] _
[A] _ _ [Ab] [Bb] Your friends aren't talking about swordplay or being chucked [G] off a mountain.
No.
You always realise how crazy your job is when you come home and you're sort of,
I had such a hard day at work.
Because I was trying to fight this monster and I couldn't find the emotional beat of it.
And then you realise how crazy your job really is.
The fact that that's your concerns on a daily basis.
[D] _ _ _ _ _
_ [N] _ _ _ _ _ I was wondering, you guys, glamorous job on the surface.
But in reality you're shooting in the freezing [G] cold and it's not always perfect.
What was the least glamorous moment shooting this second series?
You have a beautiful, beautiful area up in North District.
[Eb] _
I didn't know that you were so complete.
I mean, why do you ever travel to New Zealand?
I know, right?
[N] It's expensive and it takes a long time.
Just go up north and you're fine.
Were three hours in car, four hours?
It doesn't matter.
It was incredible.
Untouched areas.
And it was cold.
But you forget about it when it's so beautiful.
And you get so integrated in the nature and wherever you're looking it's cold.
It's great.
Get this guy on the tourist board.
That was amazing.
Can _ you talk back?
Yes.
_ What exactly is Cameron?
[Am] _
[D] I was wondering whether there were some new least glamorous moments shooting this show.
Every day.
Every day.
Like second series, you're running through a wood screaming and crying.
What were your highlights?
Sorry, lowlights.
Of those glamorous moments?
Yeah.
_ Wow.
_ [D] _ _ _
Fine.
[G] _ _ But first, _ gentlemen, it's been an honour.
