Hello, [N] welcome once again to the hymn of the week.
Our hymn this week is called Last Railway to Heaven, written in 1890 by M.E.
Abbey, the words.
Music by Charles D.
Tilghman.
It's actually based on an earlier poem written by William Shakespeare Hayes in 1886, The Faithful Engineer.
And evidently Abbey saw it and changed it a little to make it into more of a gospel feel.
You'll notice the video is a little bit shadowy.
We discovered after we filmed this that it was one of the [G] clips that we filmed with the
camera and we got fingerprints over the lens.
So that creates the special effects there.
But hopefully you can still follow along and play with us.
[Bb] [Db] Playing with me today is my brother Martin on harmonica and piano, Lau Howard on guitar.
We're in the key of G, so pick [Bm] up your instrument and play along [Gm] with us.
