Hey Guitar Buddies, great song from the Cure [G] there, In Between Days.
So on the intro I started with an [A] A and _ _ _ _ I'm going to a D major 9.
So not D9 but D major 9 because the 7th note is major.
So I'm playing open D, _ A, the 5th, C sharp, the 7th, major 7th and E, the 9th note.
So there's no 3rd and it's simply a case of taking your first finger off the A chord. _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [A] _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [D] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ And then the first continues in much the same way.

_ _ _ So I'm playing that A chord to start with and _ this time just adding [G] a sus 4 with my
little finger on 3 on [A] the B string and _ _ _ _ then _ _ _ _ _ _ _
D major 9 chord.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [Bm] _ _ _ _ [E] _

_ for that section I'm just going [Bm] between a B minor chord [E] and an E twice.
[Bm] B minor, _ [E] E twice and then back [A] into. _

Ok and that's all the chords you need for the entire song.
And at the end of the song, the song [A] doesn't end on A [Bm] like the tonic, it [A] ends on the D9.
So at _ _ _ _ _ _ [D] the very end of the song it just hangs on that chord to finish.
But that's the [B] chords you need, they're all contained in the intro that I played through
for the entire song.
So let's take a look at those lead parts.
I'm in the key of A major and I'm starting on A on 2 on the 2nd fret of the G string. _ _
_ [G#] _ So G sharp on [E] 1, then E on 2 on the [A] D string.

_ _ _ _ _ _ [C#] _ _
_ _ And the 2nd time I go up instead [E] of going down.
So I go A, A, A, [B] A on B _ on 4 on the G string to C sharp on [C#] 2. _
_ _ _ Then I play the first [B] phrase again _ _ [E] _ _ _ and just play [C] that E once that [A] time.

[A] _ And [E] then I'm going [D] to 3, D, _ _ [C#] to C [Am] sharp, [D] to A.
