[Bb] What's up homies!
Welcome back to Teach Me Tuesday.
First of all, I [Gm] want to say I'm doing a limited run of this ukulele with the Hawaiian Islands t-shirt
[Bb] and also our regular shirts.
So down below the [Gm] video you can check it out.
Today we're going to learn I Am A [Bb] Queen by Lilo de Lima and this was [Gm] requested by Kiana.
So Kiana, [Eb] grab your ukuleles and let's go learn how [F] to play.
[Bb] Okay, well the first recording didn't record the audio so I [Eb] had to run.
Grab my camera while I'm editing and let's just get through this one.
So the first chord is going to be Bb.
We're going to cover these
Oh god, this is such an awkward position for me too.
You're going to cover these bottom two strings here on the first fret,
the third string second fret, top [Bb] string third fret.
Okay, in the beginning we're going to do a slow strum.
So down, up, down.
Okay, your second chord is F.
We're going to cover the top string on the second fret,
second string on [F] the first fret.
The third chord [C] is C.
We're going to play a high C here.
We're going to cover the bottom
two strings here on the third fret, third string, fourth fret, top string, fifth fret.
[Dm] And then the last chord is D minor.
We're going to cover the top two strings here
on the second fret and the second string on the first fret.
So the beginning is going [G] to sound like [Bb] this.
[F]
[C] [Dm]
[Bb] [F]
[C] [Dm]
Okay, and then she goes into a reggae strum.
[Bb] [F]
[C] [Dm]
[Bb] [F]
[C] [Dm]
Okay, and then she goes [N] into the verse.
And the verse is going to be D minor.
We just learned that one, D [Dm] minor.
[N] Okay, and then the second chord is going to be G minor,
which is covering this bottom string on the first fret, third string, second fret,
second string, third fret.
[Gm]
[N] And then the third chord is going to be A,
which is covering this top string, second fret, third string, [A] first fret.
And then D [Gm] minor.
[D]
Okay, I just played G minor right there, but it's D minor.
So [Dm] the verse is going to sound like this.
[Gm]
[A] [Dm]
[Gm]
[A] [Dm]
[Gm]
[A] [Dm]
[Gm]
[Am] [A]
[Dm] She goes back into the chorus, which [Bb] is B flat.
[F]
[C] [Dm]
[Bb] [F]
[C] [Dm]
[N] And then there's going to be a part where she
comes into a bridge.
[Bb] It's going to be B minor,
[C]
[Dm] B flat.
Sorry, not B [Bb] minor, B flat.
[Abm] [C]
And I think, I'm pretty sure this part comes before the rap.
[G] And then for the rap,
you're going to play the same chords as the verse.
[Dm]
[Gm] [A]
[Dm]
And then she [N] goes into the chorus,
and that [Bb] is it.
Now I get to edit the video.
Thank you for joining me on today's Teach Me Tuesday.
[Gm]
Kiana, I hope this really helps you.
If you know anybody who wants to learn how to play this song
or know anybody who could benefit [Bb] from it, go ahead and share it with them.
If you like the
video, [Gm] give it a like and subscribe if you haven't subscribed [Bb] yet.
Don't forget, we got these limited
[Gm] run t-shirts going on right now until January [Eb] 1st.
So come grab them.
[F] I didn't even get a chance [Bb] to
grab it yet.
So go grab them.
And [Eb] I think that's all.
So [F]
you have a [Bb] damn good day.
K, then, bruh.
